Louis Vuitton Alzer Shoes c.1940
Superb and rare Alzer Louis Vuitton trunk covered with a canvas coated with a stencil monogram and protected by dark lozine borders. The case is equipped with a leather handle and three brass clasps stamped "Louis Vuitton Paris". The original owner's initials "L de M" are painted in yellow under the handle.
It is a special order from the 1940's, we find inside a layout to receive up to 8 pairs of shoes + 2 pairs of boots. The compartments are removable, to allow the storage of all kinds of shoes. Everything is covered with brown felt.
Very good condition: The case is in superb condition for its time, with some marks on the lozine and the outer canvas. Everything is original on this luggage.
The shoes, by their shape, by their weight, by their variety, by the delicacy even of some of them could not be put with the linen or the clothes.
We have created, for their transport, trunks whose interior is carefully padded, which makes it possible to place, in special cases and without any envelope, the shoes of the richest fabrics, the boots of the finest varnish.
