Large trunk Au Touriste

Monumental travel trunk from the house of Au Touriste from the 1910's, covered with a green coated canvas and protected by leather borders, the most luxurious finish of the time. The trunk has brass jewelry, beechwood slats, and clasps signed by the manufacturer Au Touriste. 

The bottom of the trunk is equipped with four wheels, with a zinc coating to protect the contents of the trunk from humidity. The interior is equipped with three frames including a first compartment to store hats, a second for ties, one for false shirt collars, one for underwear and two long frames for clothes. We find in the hood a padding to fix the family photos at the opening of the trunk with monogrammed ribbons Au Touriste. The label of the manufacturer is fixed on the padding indicating the address of the store Au Touriste, place de l'opéra. 

We find the initials of the original owner E . M - H on each side, as well as the authentication plate of the trunk maker. 

Very good condition : The trunk is in an exceptional condition, with a superb patina of the leather exterior and an interior in perfect condition.
