Louis Vuitton intermediate trunk
Exceptional Louis Vuitton cabin size trunk from 1904, covered with a monogrammed Jacquard woven canvas and protected by metal edges. Originally used to carry long dresses during a trip.
This trunk features the emblematic jacquard woven fabric, the first monogrammed covering used by the Louis Vuitton house from 1896 to 1904. This fabric is very fragile and rarely produced, and today is particularly difficult to find in good condition. The clasps are in brass, while the jewelry is metallic (Moorish finish). The central lock is signed Louis Vuitton and numbered, with the address of the stores at the time. The initials of the owner G.L are painted on each side.
Inside the trunk is a padded cover, originally used to protect the contents of the luggage and to fix family photos. The bottom of the trunk is covered with a black canvas, with four wheels.
Very good condition : The trunk is in extraordinary condition for its age. The interior of the luggage is in perfect condition, with a superb patina of the exterior Louis Vuitton monogram canvas.
Very functional and in perfect condition, this special order from the house of Louis Vuitton now offers ideal proportions to use this trunk as a coffee table or to decorate a room.
Secure delivery worldwide, with reinforced packaging and insurance. A tracking number is provided after ordering. ( Customs fees may be added for international shipments )
