Moynat car trunk special order

Exceptional Moynat car trunk from the 1910's, covered with a beige coated canvas and protected by leather borders. This very particular trunk has the sides cut on the edges and the bottom completely curved to fit the shape of the trunk of a specific vehicle of 1900. 

One notices on this special order a double opening on the top and on the front of the trunk. The interior is equipped with a removable frame built on the bias to fit the shape of the luggage. The manufacturer's label is stuck in the hood with the original address of Moynat at 4 place du théâtre Français. 

Underneath the trunk are Moynat's rubber and leather covered "heel pads" to avoid shaking once the trunk is attached to the car. A brass rod comes to ensure the sealing between the trunk and the body of the vehicle.
