Leather hat trunk c.1900

Very nice hat trunk from 1900 entirely covered with leather, from the Delion Paris brand. There is a leather handle stamped Delion on the top of the trunk, with a place to store a business card, as well as the initials M.A. of the original customer. The trunk is equipped with brass clasps and jewelry, with the authenticity plate on the front of the luggage.

The interior is fitted with a place to store a straw boater hat for the country, a folding top hat for the evenings, as well as two places for everyday bowler hats. This was in 1900 the ultimate luxury for a gentleman, allowing him to travel with all his hats in perfect safety.

Good condition: Very nice patina of the leather exterior. There are some marks on the exterior and interior lining, but the item is in overall very good condition for its age. One of the inside fasteners is replaced by tape to hold the right bowler hat in place.
